
Kathleen M. Geil is Vice President of Operations Accounting for Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT). She is responsible for the accounting and reporting activities supporting the operating properties of the company. Kathy originally joined the company as part of the team responsible for implementing improved systems and reporting capabilities.
Kathy has over 20 years experience working with the accounting and technology function, primarily in the real estate industry. Prior to joining COPT, Kathy was Vice President, Assistant Controller for Municipal Mortgage and Equity. She was a Senior Manager with Deloitte Consulting focused on ERP system implementations and process improvements, serving clients such as CarrAmerica and The Mills Corporation. She also worked for The Rouse Company and Prime Retail in controllership and systems support roles.
Kathy is a CPA in the state of Maryland with a B.S. degree in Accounting from Towson State University and an MBA from the University of Baltimore.
