John Hermann is Vice President of Asset Management/Leasing for Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT). He is responsible for the leasing and financial management of a portfolio of 68 buildings, located throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania, totaling 3.5 million square feet.
John has 14 years of commercial real estate experience, nearly eight of which have been with COPT. He is involved in multiple facets of the real estate process such as project planning and design, budget preparation, prospecting, negotiating leases and overseeing construction, with the ultimate goal of increasing the net operating income of his assigned portfolio.
John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Finance from Mount Saint Mary's College and is presently a candidate for designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of a number of professional and civic organizations, including CCIM, NAIOP, Hunt Valley Business Forum, and the American Cancer Society.
