COPT Criteria For Ownership and Acquisitions
We use an extremely rigorous, disciplined and highly selective acquisition strategy and are currently seeking:

High-quality office properties and data facilities located in suburban markets, primarily in the Greater Washington, DC/Baltimore region;

Multi-story office properties;

Buildings entirely or primarily leased to federal government agencies or government/defense contractors;

Buildings of at least 50,000 square feet of space in size within our existing markets;

Portfolios of office buildings located in the Greater Washington, DC/Baltimore region, or in select other markets that feature sustainable, government/defense-related demand drivers;

Entity transactions that include a portfolio of core office properties as well as a strong management platform and major regional presence. Entity transactions are utilized to enter new geographic markets.
