Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) (NYSE: OFC) is a specialty office real estate investment trust (REIT) that focuses on strategic customer relationships and specialized tenant requirements in the U.S. Government, Defense Information Technology and Data sectors. The Company acquires, develops, manages and leases properties which are typically concentrated in large office parks primarily located adjacent to government demand drivers and/or in growth corridors. As of March 31, 2008, the Company owned 248 office and data properties totaling 18.7 million rentable square feet, which includes 18 properties totaling 806,000 square feet held through joint ventures.  The Company’s portfolio primarily consists of technically sophisticated buildings in visually appealing settings that are environmentally sensitive, sustainable and meet unique customer requirements.

The Company’s property management services team provides comprehensive property and asset management to company owned properties and select third party clients. The Company recently won the 2007 customer service award in the large owner category in the national CEL & Associates, Inc. survey conducted each year with over 2 million tenants.  This is the fourth year in a row that the Company has won this award.

The Company’s development and construction services team provides a wide range of development and construction management services for company owned properties, as well as land planning, design/build services, consulting, and merchant development to select third party clients. The Company was recognized for its environmental leadership by receiving from the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) the first national Green Development Award for one of our LEED-certified (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) buildings in The National Business Park. The Company has three buildings certified gold, three buildings certified silver and 24 others registered for LEED silver or gold certification. Eight professionals in the Company hold the LEED Accredited Professional designation.
